Welcome

A Bit About Me

I am a community organizer, peace educator and facilitator in Washington DC and Baltimore, MD. I am the daughter of Lebanese immigrants and have been motivated by my experiences growing up to work and organize for peace and justice.  In 2013, I co-founded By Peaceful Means, a non-profit that runs programs for youth in peace education, empowerment and justice. We train and employ Baltimore high-school aged students to help run two summer programs that serve over 120 youth annually in East Baltimore.  BPM also offers trainings for organizations in conflict transformation and anti-oppression. I love integrating movement and theatre into my work and am a trained (over 100 hours) Theatre of the Oppressed Joker (facilitator) and am passionate about using art to envision a more just, equitable and love-filled world.
